I guess the controversy didn't end last month... here 's the link if you hadn't read it before.

The question remains, is BlogPaws for shelter bloggers or for pet bloggers?

If they are going to go with the shelter agenda of demonizing pet stores then they should let their members know, so the ones that like their pet stores or like purebred animals can move on to a group that will appreciate them. Otherwise BlogPaws is just being dishonest.

Or maybe folks didn't believe me when I said I would no longer be quiet when they decided they had some kind of right to pick on other folks that didn't do things the way THEY wanted them done. They should have believed me, because I meant it.

But, I'm going to use their own words this time!

Gee... What have we got here? Only they care about animals. Yeah, right. The only thing they care about is that you get your animal in their approved manner. Remember boycott pet stores and bad-mouth people you know nothing about!

Blog post after blog post.... ALL from the same person who has stated she wanted ALL pet stores to stop selling pets, and ALL breeders put out of business. Not the least bit of bias there, is there? CindyLu will parrot whatever she's been told. I'm willing to bet she has never been anywhere near a "puppy mill" nor done any research of her own, but that's OK because she hates pet stores anyway because they sell animals...so any lie will do. That a pet store and a so-called "puppy mill" are not the same thing doesn't matter. The fact that I have almost 10 years of experience with pet stores and their animals, and close to 40 years of experience with animal breeders that tells me the majority of pet stores and breeders are great people, doesn't mean anything to folks like CindyLu...she's got her lies to back her up. Talk about "inbreeding"!

Once again CindyLu thinks she's the only one that cares about animals. Not the least self-righteous is she? And she just knows "most don't" because why? Oh, those blog posts over and over again. No bias there!

So, BlogPaws needs to decide. Which is it? The shelter agenda of demonizing pet stores, pet breeders, and pet owners that don't marchstep to their tune, or is Blogpaws about all pet owners? I think an honest answer is required so that folks know where they stand and if BlogPaws is about them, or just folks that have an agenda.

BlogPaws Brouhaha

   It seems there is a little dust-up over at BlogPaws. The Blogpaws folks were blindsided by a blogger who didn't like one of their speakers at the last convention, and rather than talk with the folks at BlogPaws, just put together a post that the BlogPaws folks say was long on opinion and short on facts. You can read what the BlogPaw folks had to say here . And then come back and read the rest of my rant!

   During the Blogpaws convention I finally got angry about a nasty tweet from a shelter person about dog breeders and pet stores. So angry in fact I blocked them on my Twitter account, and I block no one but the spammers! But that was the final straw that broke the camel's back. I have had it with self-rightous people that have done nothing but demand that everybody has to do things their way... I guess those folks don't care about the folks that could do a lot to help shelters find homes for animals. They only care about telling others what to do! Well, excuse my French, but too damn bad!

   These people DO NOT CARE about animals, they just want to be in control. They finally pushed me one time too many, so from now on out I'm going to call them out every time I see them lie about other people because they think they can get their way by lying, or they can self-rightously hurt other people's feeling because those folks don't do things the way they want them done. The folks at Blogpaws are trying to be nice about it, but I guess they just haven't had to put up with as much of the nastiness I've seen from folks like Mel, or didn't realize these are control freaks, and that is more important than animals having homes to them.

   After the BlogPaws convention I wrote and re-wrote three different posts, but I was still too angry to post them. Well. I'm still angry, but the blogger that wrote the nasty post about Blogpaws is exactly the reason I'm angry, so here it is. They would rather complain about one of the speakers at BlogPaws, and apparently tell lies about that person because they don't like it that the person sets up websites for purebred breeders. The fact that he also sets up website for shelters for free doesn't cover for his other "sins" in their eyes. And it is a sin to them if you don't fall in line with their dogma!(Breeders BAD! Pet stores BAD! Everybody who doesn't agree with them BAD!) Hey! Maybe he should just stop giving away his time and the work he does to help shelters! What do you think?

Apparently the Mels in the world don't care too much for folks that think and do differently than what they want them to do. Every breeder is a "puppy mill" to them, and the truth doesn't matter. They would rather run off folks that love and care for their animals just as much as they do, because "those folks aren't decent"(and yes, that is EXACTLY what I have been told...) since they didn't BUY their animal at a shelter(and no, you do not "adopt" an animal at a shelter; if you did you'd pay court fees and get a legal document, or at minimum have a follow up service like the BLM does with the Mustangs and Burros, where the local animal service comes out at least four times in the first year to see that you are caring for that animal before you get LEGAL ownership from the BLM. No shelter does that that I'm aware of. Once that animal is out of there, they're on to the next fundraiser.)

   So, I do not ever want to hear that pet stores selling animals are bad, unless you are going to say SHELTERS who are ALSO selling anmals are also bad! There IS no difference. All those animals need homes, and it doesn't matter where they come from. Or maybe you think the shelters should have a monopoly on selling animals? Why? They are just two businesses doing the exact same thing.

   I can't begin to tell you how many folks I know that the Mels in the world have run off from twitter or facebook, or the number I have tried to get to stick around, they were just too tired of the hate coming their way! They were there to talk about their animals just like the rest of us, but since the Mels don't approve of the fact that they have purebreds, or horror or horror, raise purebreds, they couldn't do that. Those folks were there to help at the pawty fundraisers too, and to help shelters. But not any more! I can't tell you how many times in the last six months alone I have thought about walking away from it myself. I don't need the nastiness that comes from folks who think they have the right to tell others what they should do, and that those folks had better do it their way, or else!

   I talk with nationally known breeders and AKC competitors. When I ask them if they could help with pawpawty and the like to raise money for shelters they tell me "Why? Those people hate us." (AKC folks can't even sell their pups through a pet store, or any place besides where they raise their animals. But I'm betting the Mels in the world aren't going to let a little fact like that get in the way of their nastiness)

   The pet stores I have worked with, and dealt with feel the same. Even though I know for a fact that all of them work very hard to make sure that every animal they have has been throughly vet checked, as well or better than any shelter, that doesn't stop the lies from these people who are never asked to prove their nasty statements. (well, you might want to say...that might not be true for all pet stores. Well it might not be true for all shelters either, but that sure isn't going to make any difference to folks like Mel!)

   And yeah, I'm still angry. These folks don't want to help animals, they want to control other people's choices.

   Sorry for the rant. But folks like Mel would rather cut off their own noses to spite their face if they don't get their own way. They DO NOT CARE that there are loads of folks that want all animals to have homes that THEY have run off with their attitude. Folks that would be helping, except for the treatment they get from folks like Mel. They will just stay away from shelters and folks like that, and do what they can without dealing with the Mels in the world.

   So finally it comes down to this. Do folks really want to help all animals have a good home, or do they want to tell others that they have to do it their way or else? I'm pretty certain where the Mels in that question fall...

Paws for Japan

As we enjoy St Patrick's Day please join in the Anipal Blog Hop in support of all the wonderful relief organizations either already on the ground, or on their way to help people and animals in Japan. (Be sure and read this whole post, there's a little surprise in it...snicker...)

Many of you already know that several of us, and especially the Be The Change Blogs are supporting World Vets . Please visit their site to see what they do and how they are helping in Japan. If you can there's a donation widget over to the right, please help us help World Vets in the work they do.

Also visit the Search Dog Foundation to see the great things they do. Here's an article from the Orange County(California) Register about what they are doing today(Mar 15th) in Ofunato City, Japan. It's a big job they've got ahead of them and it costs approximately $15,000(or more depending on how long they'll have to stay) for each dog and handler. Luckily they do have a great contributor who was giving them $1. for every like they received on their Facebook page.(I believe he donated $100,000.)

Wow! My cats love this tree. They have been climbing all over it since it arrived.They love the tree branches as well as the sisal rope post. It's recommended for larger cats,but my cats are actually fairly small. A better recommendation would be for active cats that like climbing like mine do!

It's fairly large being close to 6' tall and the leaves make it spread out well over 3' wide(I think the base is 24" x30") so it does need a fair amount of space but even in a room that was 10'x12' you could still make it fit without too much trouble. It's quite attractive for humans too! Each one is going to be unique as they use real tree trunks!

It is very sturdy,and things like the carpeted base are easy to clean as they used velco to keep them in place. This is something my cats are going to enjoy for a very long time!

We Can All Help, We Can All Be The Change

Over this past weekend the first Blogpaws convention was held. This was for people and animals that blog, and want to help animals. We weren't able to attend, but I bet it was a grand time, and all these folks got a chance to see where they have come in the past year. Several of them have blogged about animals or worked with animal rescues and shelters for a long time. But many of them saw this past year because of twitter, facebook and other social media sources what they could do as well, so they joined in at the pawpawties, helped their local shelters, started blogs, and twittered, twittered, twittered! (boy have we driven the "real" people there crazy!) And they have seen that even a little bit can help. And all those little bits added up to a lot of help for a lot of homeless animals.

Even the "real" people are joining us now. Either with their animals getting an account (with the invariable effect of the animal soon having more followers than they do!),or they come to the pawpawties as themselves. From only a few hundred "pawpawtiers" to now several thousand all over the world! It's a very little thing, but it means so much for all the homeless animals out there. And it is something we can all do. The average donation at the pawpawties is probably $10. but, it's a lot of $10. that add up to a lot of help!(and we all have a super time pawtying!)

You don't have to have a blog where you update daily, maybe only once or twice a month. A lot of the animal blogs do mostly pictures and videos to show what they've been up to. But, you never know how wide your audience might be. So, if you post about the latest pawpawty, a lot of folks may see it! The folks that are not involved with the anipals or the pawpawties might just get to read where you are telling about helping at your local shelter, or how the pawpawty raised over a $1000. for that month's shelter and decide that they can help too! Never underestimate the effect you can have for good. So, do what you can, where you can. And help spread the word, on twitter, on facebook, on your blog, to your neighbors and friends.

Maybe all you feel comfortable doing is RTing a tweet on Twitter, or posting a link on your Facebook, even that does help! Look at how @BigBoyBosco 's mom found Ginger! From a Re-tweet of a twitter post telling Ginger's story. Or Ming Shai last December, when Kittenrescue, Carsoncats, and Smokey8 and myself had to save that little old gal from the Los Angeles shelter! You can be the change folks!

We can all make a difference for homeless animals.

...snicker....Baby Patches' mom is having a contest for BP's 2nd birthday over at Nip and Bones! And I just couldn't help ratting on all my sisfurs! Here's the contest for anyone who would like to enter, and give up their most "Terrible Twos" moment. You don't have to be two, or do two terrible things, or have two of you doing the terrible thing! Although teamwork some times pays off! Just the most terrible thing you have ever done & are willing to admit to!!

I figured I'd tattle on everyone here!...snicker....

Where to start...hmmmmm...

Mom can't even begin to count the pairs of Little Girl's ballet shoes that Ginger and I have eaten. I say it's little Girl's fault for leaving them out! Or the number of phone,computer & other assorted electrical cords we have all eaten. Although, Ginger wins in this catagory with eating through a line of Christmas Tree lights!

Ginger and I do have a Tag Team event around here that keeps mom on her toes. I'm too short to reach the trash bag, or the catfood dish...but Ginger isn't! So if our hoomins have made the mistake of not taking the trash bag out when they leave for the day this is what we do. First Ginger stand up to the counter that we want to get something off of. Then she pulls it over the edge. Then we both grab hold of the sides of the bag and carry it to the living room where we can spread it out and check out each piece of garbage.We can spend a wonderful morning this way! Of course this only works on rainy days when we get to stay inside while they are gone, or in the middle of the night, as that is also a great time for this caper! Although we generally get caught if we try this at night because Ginger makes too much noise!

Oh! Next is Rosie's Raiders!...snicker...One of Rosie's favorite things to do is raid the kitchen drawers, and she has lots of help! Both Luna and Molly follow her into whichever drawer Rosie has pulled open, and find a way to get to the next,or the next, drawer over to find a treasure they want to drag out and play with. Sometimes they even drag out stuff for me to play with! Amongst the stuff they have drug out have been extra squeakers for our toys, plastic mesh bags that apples and tangerines have come in, glue sticks, catnip,and an occasional set of keys!

Luna and I also have a Tag Team event of our own! Luna, like a lot of cats loves to unroll the toilet paper. Left to her own devices that results in a big pile of toilet paper on the bathroom floor...snicker...But, when I help it means I grab a hold of some of that paper and run all over the house!! Oh, do I like making THAT mess! Rosie also has a variation on this where instead of unrolling the toilet paper on purpose, she uses it as a scratching post! Same results, just a lot more little pieces all over the house when I'm done!...snicker...

Oh, I can not leave this one out, even if I am ratting on myself! The hoomins NEVER leave the dining room table unattended when there is food on it! Doesn't matter if the chairs are completely tucked in or not there at all, or that that table is more than two feet taller than me.....yummm...BBQ steak! I'm drooling just thinking about it(Be right back, I've just got to go see if there's anything there now!)

I think however the funniest terrible thing we've ever done goes to Ginger! She didn't mean to be terrible, she was trying to help I'm sure...snicker...(sure she was!)!

Mom was planting rose bushes one day, and our ground is very hard clay. This meant that mom was digging over-sized holes and then filling them with water to soften the ground a little. Ginger had been sitting there snoopervising mom, but waterdogs are waterdogs after all! Mom had dug and filled about ten holes with water, and had gone to get her potting soil to put in the holes....well I think a picture is worth at LEAST a thousand words in this case!

Well, what can I say...snicker...Ginger sure gets the prize for the DIRTIEST terrible thing....

FEBRUARY 2010

Well, I just had to keep my Wag Vegas av, but first on Monday the 1st I added a Rusty twibbon, and then on Tuesday a Shorty Team Anipal twibbon that @BrewskieButt put together, and then I turned it all orange on the 3rd with the Leukemia Twibbon. So, since I could no longer stand up from all the weight of the Twibbons for the #shortypawpawty on Thursday the 4th I did this!..snicker...

I think I'm gonna have to use this one again the night of the Shorty awards when our own BZTAT, FrugalDougal's mom, and YodatheDog's mom all meet in NewYork to collect their awards!!

Here's my Valentine's Day avs!

We all started early trying on different avs.

And for the pawty on March 13th, I just had to have this one. While LOTR is technically fantasy more than SciFi, my favorite character of all time is Eowyn, the White Lady of Rohan. So I just had to be her!

Next we all got dressed for St Patrick's Day.

And since the following weekend was the First Anniversary of the Pawpawties, many of us stayed green all week long!

This is my St Paw's Day av for the 1st Anniversary St Paw's Day #pawpawty on March 20-21st. It is so hard to believe it's been a year, but it has been a great year, and I hope we have many more just like it!

April 2010

PEEP!...snicker...(Easter was April 4th)

On April 10 @Niqqi and @SmokeyPoodle put together the #Area51 Adventure. We were all on a rescue mission to rescue Dogga.Who it turns out was actually Laika, the Russian dog to first orbit the Earth. Seems her capsule was recovered by aliens! But in some weird time warp thing, the aliens crashed near Area51 almost 50 years later!

All the anipals were divided into teams to rescue Dogga. I was on the stealthteam and we had an invisibilty cloak and the ability to travel thru time.So I had a bunch of different avs I was going to use...until the aliens knocked out my power and I could only add a few more tweets from my phone. Dogga was rescued, and everyone had a great time!

Next on the 17th and 18th was #carniepawty. Put together by @BadAndy_KityKat to celebrate April anipal birthdays. If you haven't already gone to Andy's blog for the pawty it is a must see!

Our official pawpawty on the 24th and 25th this month was #chickfest. I just couldn't resist coming as the hottest chick ever ~ Mrs. Peel!

May 2010

First pawty in May was a Cinco da Mayo celebration for @kittehboi's sister Chilipepper's Birthday. It was a very festive #chilipawty!

Next was the Pajama Pawty on the 14th. it was put on by BarkWorld Expo in celebration of their up-coming Pet Blogger's conference in Atlanta this summer. The shelter #bwpjpawty helped was A Chance for Bliss

Then our "official" pawpawty was themed Paw's Kitchen and was held on the 22nd and 23rd. Everyone came dressed as chef's or food. Some of the "food" anipals got nibbled on! Our charity was North West English Springer Spaniel Rescue in the UK

As many of you know Kolo Martin had another animal adoption drawing. This time it was to adopt an animal at the Amazon World Zoo Park on the Isle of Wright where Kolo lives.

Guess what? I won!! I'm so excited! Now I get to pick an animal to adopt! I wanted this one...

But Kolo assures me that they don't have any Aliens, Alien Baboons,or even Baboons because they are just a small zoo with a little over 200 animals.

So I have decided on a little more convention type of animal, a turtle!

Thanks to Kolo, I'll get an adoption certificate and a newsletter from the Zoo. This is another wonderful way to help animals, and I hope you all enter Kolo's next contest for a chance to adopt an animal!

An Out of This World Pawty!

What a super time everybody had this past weekend at the #SciFiPawty! There were aliens, time travelers and fantasy creatures of all sorts! @CokietheCat did this wonderful poster!

And that was just some of the Star Wars contingent!

There was trouble with tribbles, and @morriscat cooked green alien chicken with his phaser for us. Then there was @ZackRabbit's out of this world cooking show, and his wonderful Adventure with the @Legendofneil(It probably isn't showing, but at Twitpic this is animated! Zack says it's magic! Go here to see it in action!)

Boris had a costume contest for all of the out of this world pictures that folks did of themselves. If you go here you can see the winners and all the entries! Everyone of them was a winner in my book, and I don't know how Boris's Human2 ever decided !

And best of all, all the aliens, star creatures, fantasy visitors, and voyagers helped to raise over $1025. for Boris's shelter charity, the Animal Rescue League of Berk's County!

I hope Boris can be talked into doing another #SciFiPawty again, as it was a total Blast, and I'm sure everyone who came had a fantastic time.

Ola Kala! The Furry Friend Award

Pirulo Furry has given me an Award ! The Ola Kala award is given to furry friends that do or have done things to help make the world a better place.

Ola Kala mean's "everything's good" in Greek. And for this award the first thing you do is write about three things you do to make the world a better place. They don't have to be really big things, like my first thing is that I sleep curled up in the crook of mom's knees to help keep her warm at night! Remember it's the little things that count!

The second would be that (as you probably already know) I love helping at the Pawpawties. Of course, who wouldn't? I'm so proud to be friends with all the great anipals that take part and help to make the the pawpawties such a great success everytime!

Number three would be that we help at our local shelter. We get little toys for the kitties at the North County Humane Society for just about every holiday, and sometimes mom takes them cat food or litter because they need that a lot. Sometimes mom stops by just to play with the kitties!

Well,there you have it. Now I'm going to go figure out how to put this award in my sidebar. Oh, really interesting trivia(well to me anyway).Piru chose to use a picture of EL Morro for the award. Which is a historical fort in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he lives. You can read about it at his blog. Turns out I have my own "El Morro" near where I live. It is the giant "rock" that sits at the edge of the harbor in Morro Bay California.

Guess what? Next week is the Shorty Awards ceremonies.That means @Frugaldougal's staff and @YodatheDog's mom will be meeting up with @BZTAT in New York City! They plan to take lots of pictures and keep us updated on their adventure!

The Awards ceremony is on the 3rd of March. Should we throw a celebration pawpawty? That's next Wednesday. Might be a lot of fun!!

Valentines For My Shelter

Thought you might like to see some pictures from when my mom took some toys to our local shelter this past weekend. They only have cats, but what can a dog say....

This time mom got pictures of some of their adult cats. She says they are all very friendly, and it is very cool that they all get to wander around and play together. They are waiting for their lunch here. One even got adopted while she was there!

the thing to do when a camera is pointed your way. Boy, I've got to talk to that cat and set him straight!

It's pretty amazing at our local shelter, they have over 200 cats and kittens and only the sick ones, or very small kittens don't get to roam around and play. Some of the cats even get to wander outdoors, and they have a big play yard where they get to go when the weather is nice.

Well, there you have it. Mom's trip to our local shelter. It's a pretty nice place as shelters go. It'd be even nicer though if all those cats had forever homes where they had their own hoomin to love.

Hai folks ! It's Rosie again!

I asked mom how come only Dolly got to post her picture on here. I mean after all, I'm a contributor to this blog too! So mom said she'd fix me a shot to use on my posts! Of course, we cats got to playing with our DaByrd while she was taking pictues of me and I thought you might like to see some of them, after all next to napping, it's what we do best!

Thank you Thunder and Elineof for honoring me this Honest Scrap Award! As many of you know, this award is given to blogging friends because you enjoy their work and would like to know more about them. So thanks again Thunder and Eline for thinking of me!

So, my ten things you may not know about me:

1 ~ I LOVE going to the groomers! Now this probably isn't much of a surprise,but I enjoy all the pampering I get there, and always like looking pretty.

2 ~ I like swimming too! Not as much as my sister Ginger, but I do enjoy it. An added bonus of going swimming is that it messes up my beautiful hair, so I have to go back to the groomer's the next day!...snicker...

3 ~ My cat sister Rosie likes water. I really expect to see her one evening jump in the bathtub with Little Girl. Everytime a water bowl, or sink or tub gets filled, she's right there checking it out!

4 ~ I have two turtles, Myrtle and Timothy, and Rosie and Molly love to eat the turtle food. Myrtle and Timothy are Red-Eared Slider Turtles and used to live in a small pond on our patio until mom got them a big tank so they could live in the house. This is what they look like, and they get quite large, up to almost a foot long.Timothy and Myrtle are only about half of that though.

5 ~ We all know I like Bacon!, but Ginger likes bananas! Silly girl, who would want a banana over Bacon!?? Ummm, maybe a peanut butter, banana, and Bacon! sandwich?...be right back,OK?

Where were we? Oh, yeah, number 6 ~ My favorite place to nap, especially after a peanut butter, banana, Bacon! sandwich is in a chair by the window of our living room. It's just my size and comfy! Ginger takes the couch!Hmmm...(OK, OK, I'm not napping now, just resting!)

7 ~ We don't get to go to the Lake often enough. Seems there isn't enough room for us when Little Girl's friends come along! Grr...maybe I'll go chew one of my toys for a while, or one of Little Girl's shoes...snicker...

8 ~ Our silly ducks love water too! Now I'm sure that is no secret to anyone, but these guys take it to a whole new level! They were swimming in a puddle only 3 or so inches deep the other day after the rain. I guess they will do anything to be able to get in the water. Mom went to take a picture of all of them in the puddle the other day, but by the time she got there only one was still swimming. The others were eating bugs! Ewwwuh!

Here they are today, the puddle has shrunk, and the sun is shining!

9 ~ I really do like my Little Girl, I usually start out the night sleeping on her bed with her until mom get's off Twitter. Sometimes she lets me borrow her necklaces too! I'm thinking about maybe returning the favor some day.

10 ~ Oh, last but not least, I'm smarter than Ginger! She's the one who always finds the skunk on our last walk of the night! I sure wouldn't want a bath in tomato sauce & water outside at night! She's done it three times! Silly girl

What I know about the nasty small minded FUDGE ~

Many of you think you know this character "Sir" Fudge, well I've known him much longer than just about any of you. Oh, I know you think he's very droll, and so "intelligent". Well, I would hope a University student would have access to at the very least a proper Thesaurus and a grammar book. I've heard they do have such things as books in Australia after all, and not everyone is related to Crocodile Dundee, or a convict.

JazzydaCat told you the truth ~

That's why he deleted her comment about what he's done over on his blog and at twitter...that is also why this reply to his smallness is here on Dolly's blog. He can't delete anything on THIS blog!!

HE makes you laugh you say. How is that again? Oh, he thinks it is so funny to insult people, and you laugh at his crassness? And when he turns it on you, you apologize to him?

What is wrong with you people? What kind of bootlickers are you anyway?

Three weeks ago I told him I would no longer comment on anything he had to say. This was after a 20 DM diatribe from him amounting to "You are not my mom!","I can say anything I want", "You always try to hurt me!",and "Don't tell me what to say". He thinks that he deleted a part of them that day, but my phone has it's own memory(and with a 2MB memory I'm too lazy to erase anything) All because I had tweeted to him that he didn't have to be mean about the folks that want so badly to "believe" in pawcircles; that his Elmer Gantry schtick was very hurtful to many, and all he really had to do was ignore it in its entirety. I have had no communications with him since Jan 8th. He was still following me at 7pm PSTon the 25th, since his tweets were showing in my TD All Friends column during BabyPatches pawty. By 8pm, he was blocking people he didnt even know...

I personally do not do pawcircles, because by the tenets of my religion they border on sacrilege. I will say a prayer for those in need. But I do not, will not demean, insult, or in any way attempt to hurt the feelings of those who do.That would be a bigger sin than the pawcircles themselves for me. The pawcircles do no harm, and comfort many people. Do no harm is a much better way to live than demeaning what you do not understand, or personally do not believe in. That it is much kinder to never say anything about someone that you wouldn't want being said about you...

Fudge thinks, I can only assume, that this means I wouldn't publicly point out where he is wrong. He'd be wrong. There is a difference between not demeaning someone's harmless behavior, and pointing out deliberate nastiness towards others.

Fudge quite obviously swings the other way. Sometimes it seems he's the mean class clown in elementary school. Where if you don't like his picking on his latest target, you can soon become the target. You folks all somehow think this is a "hip" thing to do? What? You're all in elementary school too? You somehow gain prestige by being his nasty little cheering gallery?

Sorry, you don't.

Maybe it's the "cute" name calling. In the past couple of months that seems to be all YoungMrFudge is capable of, and you little acolytes seem to lap it up like the drugs he's taking.

A quick translation from the Fudge
    Lovely = Bullshit
    friend = someone he can get away with demeaning, as opposed to ~
    wanker = someone he can't

Apparently DeusExMachina had decided that he'll make someone who had never spoken a bad word about him a special target for attack. Well folks,

PepiSmartDog knows the truth about Fudge. He still doesn't say anything nasty about this completely amoral cat.

Many of you are under the mistaken impression that Fudge didn't care about follow numbers.You'd be wrong again. Apparently you failed to notice the number of people he was following, not just his folllower numbers. But, he couldn't quite catch Pepi or myself. So he would follow our followers, until they followed an "anipal" back. I can not even begin to give you the number of folks that asked me if they should follow him. I always told them yes, as long as they knew not to get drawn into his games, and they thought they could deal with his moody nastiness.

I always follow everyone, unless they're a spammer, whitening someone's teeth, or a bot(well, I have even followed some bots because they were funny!).There have been very few exceptions to this rule. The reason I do so is that so many folks when I had no followers to speak of followed me. Many of you do not do this, and limit your follows to only anipals that you have already spoken with, or can find out about from others you do know.

This is probably not such a bad plan, as I can not possibly speak with almost 5,000 folks in a month, let alone daily. But they all have a space in a column on tweetdeck. I will speak with anyone who is not consistantly rude or nasty. Well, I'd probably rule out mass murderers. And I only block porno sites. I have never blocked a follower. I might unfollow, but I do not block. Many have blocked me, but that has just made it easier for me to ignore their smallness.

Fudge on the other hand had a little over 4000 folks he followed on his last account, and while I can't speak for Pepi, I know I'd get weekly inquiries from my followers if they should follow Fudge. Up to and including Marshallsheldon, whom Fudge had no good reason to follow, except he was one of my followers.They have nothing in common, and Marshall limits his follows like many of you do. But because he was on my follow list, Marshall followed back.I doubt very much they tweeted each other as many as a half a dozen times....

It isn't "Republicans, Conservatives or Christians" that have done him wrong, as they have done nothing to him. If you truly think that, then maybe you do belong in his sycophant crowd as you show yourself to be a simpleton, or at the very least someone who has never given up bigotry like his yourself...

Perrythebirman knows the truth about this foul-mouthed character. Perry was smart enough not to let the little whiner back into his timeline after Perry tried so hard to smooth hurt feelings after Fudge's first major explosion. I on the other hand felt sorry for the stupid child, watching him go through four different accounts in less than a month. A couple of which I was the only one he followed, or spoke with, or DMd about 10 times a day.

Then in July he disappeared completely for most of the month. When he came back,I'd see tweets to others, but he didn't send a follow request, so I forgot about him. I figured he was getting on with his life, and just wanted to start with a blank slate. All I could think was "Good Luck" kid, hope life treats you fair!

Then shortly after Pepi died, I realized that he had followed me.(Or,I should say followed me under the account of SirFudgeEsq, as he had followed me under thecrazygoat acct, which was an acct where he never spoke with anyone, just sent out demeaning DMs and quizzes about celebrities he didn't like(oh,yeah, it was him, I could tell by his phrasings, and the fact that he was demeaning folks other anipals were mentioning they liked at the very same times!)).

I didn't speak with him after he followed me on the SFE acct, figuring he'd speak with me when, and if, he wanted to. I laughed at some of his silliness, like I would with any of you who posted funnies. I shook my head over his story-telling about who and where he was. But never commented on it. Twitter for the anipals in particular is Fantasyland, where we get to be who we say we are, not who we necessarily are in reality. It's generally good fun!

So it was after Thanksgiving in late November before he decided to speak with me. He was his usual charming, nasty, demeaning self. For some reason, he felt I should be afraid of such a cyber bully as he. I tried to set the delusional child straight. While I always attempt to treat folks with kindness and respect, I eat real bullies for dessert.(Would you like to see the assault and arrest convictions I have on Law Enforcement personel that thought otherwise?)

Anyway, we tweeted about a dozen times before I told him in January that I would no longer comment on any thing he had to say. And, after this post, I will have nothing more to do, or say or comment about such a petty creature. I am shaking his dust off my feet. Anyone who asks me about him will be given the link to this post. So, if you reincarnate yourself again Fudge, send me the link, and I'll make you the exception and block you right off!

This isn't about Fudge, he's truly a small ,sad, miserable misanthrope. I do feel very sorry for him, and that he thinks hurting people makes him more important somehow. I wish he felt more important in his own right. But...

It's about the rest of you. Follow him if you want, when he opens his new account, and he will. But just remember he lies constantly and consistantly; demeans good folks that have never done anything in any way to hurt him, in fact, he singles out folks that have gone out of their way to help the ungrateful cur. He truly has no redeeming spark of goodness about him. He has willfully stomped that tiny spark into extinction.

You've been warned. So follow if you must. There might be a few laughs there. But when he starts with you, you will know the truth about your great "friend". Act accordingly. And remember there is nothing he does that you are responsible for, he's his own worst enemy.

It Was a Dark and Stormy Night...

Hi Folks!

Sorry for the melodramatics, but I just couldn't resist using that opening...snicker...We have had wind and rain now for four days straight. I was going to get the puter from mom yesterday, but we were without power most of the day and no matter how I tried I couldn't get it to work! Darn that magical stuff called 'lectricity! What kind of city is Letri anyway???

Worst of it was that I couldn't write my ending for @rumblepurr and @inigo's story...............................................

It was a Dark and Stormy Night, and Dr Mew and Baby Patches were starting to worry!

All the floofy cats in the world were being drawn to the warehouse in which Evil Mr Misha's De-Floofing machine was running. Dr Mew could tell even Baby Patches was being drawn in by the sound. It was a very subtle noise, Dr Mew could tell. Somewhere between the sound of a box of Meow Mix kibble being shook, the kitty Cha-Cha, and the opening of a can of Merrick New England Clam Boil. There was also a strange noise in the background that Dr Mew knew he should recognize, but couldn't quite place.

"Oh, Dr!", Baby Patches mewed,"Why am I so hungry?"

Dr Mew could tell that even Baby Patches would soon be under it's spell, but as he started to suggest she sit down, Evil Mr Misha spoke.

" Mewwww! We meet again! But you are too late to save the intelligent species on THIS planet! Mua! Mua! Mua!"

"So, you think this place should go to the dogs, Misha?" Dr Mew asked. A still not quite recognizable noise was building in the background of Dr. Mew's senses. A sound that was not quite cat, yet vaguely familar.

"Oh, very much Mew!" Evil Mr Misha assured the Doctor. "King Dougal assures me that when he takes over the Universe, that all the Tuna and Nip shall be mine! All Mine!! Mua! Mua! Mua! And I will be the only cat left with the ability to purr! MUA!!"

"Oh, no..." a transfixed Baby Patches mewed softly. "Dr, we have to do something, but I'm so hungry I want to go see what's in that giant catfood bowl..."

Dr Mew could see that she was surrendering to the alluring sounds being generated by the De-Floofing machine. There was no catfood bowl.

"Sit down Baby, and think hard about your favorite toys!" Dr Mew said to distract Baby Patches from the Machine's song. The noise in the background was still building and pulling Dr Mew's attention from Evil Mr Misha."Concentrate!" he told himself

"Mua, Mew!, You can't save them now!" a confident Misha purred." I will have all the floof, and all the purrs, and all the Tuna, and rule the puny humans all over the galaxy!"

Dr Mew rumbled back at Misha as a smell began to enter his conscienceness. "No Misha, I can not allow your evil plan to succeed! The Humans need their cats!"

Several of the De-Floofed cats that had been lying around in a daze were stirring Misha could tell. What was up? Evil Mr Misha could have no use for them now, but something was bringing them out of their stupor. It couldn't be the Machine!

The noise in the background was almost understandable now, but foreign, not Cat nor can, nor Dog. Some of the cats looked like they were hunting in their sleep. Almost ready to pounce on their quarry, but with a still glazed look to their eyes. Dr Mew could tell it wasn't enough yet! He needed a distraction!

" Baby!" he mewed softly to Baby Patches. "throw out all the little tinkly cat toys you have on you!" He said as he pulled all his favorite crinkly balls from his pockets. What was that sound and smell? He knew them, but the machine was still over-riding it's true nature.

Evil Mr Misha was also starting to be aware that something was changing. He ran to the machine to adjust it. Which gave Dr Mew and Baby Patches time to throw the crinkly, tinkly toys out amongst the De-Floofed cats. The few that had not been drawn into the machine yet were definitely coming out from under it's spell and went for the toys. But Dr Mew could tell the distraction would not be enough to save them. But what was that wonderful elusive smell?

The noise that had been building in the background kept changing and growing. Dr Mew could almost feel a "psst, psst, qua" to it now. But what was it? Between trying to understand the noise, and trying not to lose his concentration on Misha, Dr Mew had not thought about what might be going on outside the warehouse. But now he caught flashes of yellow and black outside the windows.

Evil Mr Misha was so busy attempting to turn the volumn up on the De-Floofing Machine that he did not see Dr Mew tell Baby Patches to go open the warehouse doors. Baby Patches ran to do so while Misha's back was turned. The smell had gotten her attention too, and she knew something wonderful was out there!

" Turn it up Misha!" Dr Mew rumbled deep in his chest. The smell was so intoxicating that he knew the De-floofing Machine would soon not be able to over-ride the other cats' desire for it! It would do Evil Mr Misha no good to turn it up, and would destroy the machine!

But Misha was so intent on ruling the universe that he wasn't paying attention to Dr Mew now. Turning the knobs on the Machine up, the noise barely covered the sound of the warehouse doors opening.

Oh. The. Wonderful. SMELL!!!

A big smile crossed Dr Mew's face as he finally realized who had come to his and all of the cats' rescue!

" GEORGE!" he rumbled in his biggest cat greeting to George the Super Duck. All of the cats were alert now and looking to pounce and Kangaroo Kick with wild abandon.

Evil Mr Misha was frantically trying to make his machine louder, but smoke and flames were beginning to rise from it. With a frantic "Meoouuw!" he jumped in to save his ill-gotten Floof just as there was a large POOF! from the machine.

And all was quiet.

All the Kong Duckies and Plague Ratsies were greeting the cats. The cats purring and pouncing with glee.They did not care at the moment they had no Floof, since they knew it would grow back, and they had their duckies and ratsies to play with!

Dr Mew and Baby Patches looked over at the ruins of the machine and laughed.

There lay Evil Mr Misha in a daze, now a Sphynx Cat.

Well, there you go, my ending to this installment of the Dr Mew series. What do you think Dr Mew and Baby Patches will do next?

Hai! Rosie again!

Yoda the Dog was nice enough to give an "Honest Scrap" Award to Dolly. Thanks Yoda!

Turns out according to Yoda's research this award has over 7 million entries on Google. That's a lot of bloggers who have been honored because they are "bloggers who put their hearts on display as they write from the depths of their soul."

AAARRRGGGH! Blogger ate my post!! Whine, Sob, CRY!...Now I have to do it all over again!!eleventy!!1!! (and I had saved it too!!) All that was left of my whole post is what's up there...

Dolly is letting me write this acceptance since our No 1 on the list of things you may not know about us is that I'm the Chief Spokescat around here! Molly is the oldest cat, but she is rather patrician in that she mostly likes to oversee stuff rather than take part.

We are very honored that Yoda picked us, and hope you enjoy our list of things you may not know about us! Thanks Yoda!

No 2 ~ Molly and my favorite treat is Kitty Kaviar. Luna's is any and all food in sight!

No 3 ~ Some of you may know that I like to read, especially books about cats. I do book reviews here from time to time, so check back to see my latest review when you get a chance. I'm the educated cat around here. Molly would rather I read aloud to her than do it herself, and Luna keeps trying to eat my books!

No 4 ~ Dolly and Ginger love their toys. Now I'm sure that isn't much of a secret, but what Dolly really loves is our toys! Sometimes I think she's half cat. I mean, you should see her! I expect at any time she is gonna start Kangaroo Kicking my Plague Ratsie! (please don't tell her I "ratted" her out,OK?)

No 5 ~ I am a treasure hunter! I can be found in the highest places and the hardest to get to drawer in the house looking for surprises to bring to mom. I have built in GPS. I can go in one drawer and come out 4 drawers over with my special offerings!

I mean, just look at these! I like leaving them all over as a special surprise for mom to find.

No 6 ~ Mom's special name for Molly is "chickenbones", reason being Molly is a very lightweight little cat. I look smaller since I'm a Torti on a Siamese type body, and Molly is a long haired dilute Calico. But I weigh more, a lot more. Luna is still a baby, but she is going to weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of what a Sherman Tank does.

No 7 ~ I love to sit at the top of our cat tree and look out the windows. This is much safer than the window sills, as Dolly can't join me there! I have never been outside except to go to the dreaded v.e.t., but it sure looks wonderful! I keep dropping hints that I'd like a KritterKondo so I can see just how wonderful it is!

No 8 ~ My favorite position is on my mom's shoulder. This makes it easy for me to watch her type my book reviews and do her twitter. It also makes it really easy for me to reach her chin with my paw. This way I can look her in the eyes and tell her I want a treat! ...mmmm, treats!(be right back!)

OK,Ok,I'm back! You can't expect a cat to have a treat without cleaning up afterwards, now can you?

No 9 ~ Oh, the top spot on the cat tree? That really is mine. It's mine I say! Molly prefers the triangle thingy that swings, probably because she can step into it from the back of the couch rather than climb the trunk. But I love to be above everything! Luna used to like the triangle thingy, but her way of getting in it left much to be desired by mom...running leap! Good thing she moved it away from the wall! WAIT! I see an usurper! Luna get out of my spot! BRB folks, gotta go get the brat outta my place.

No 10 ~ We have a wonderful time at our house, but we love all of our Twitter and blog friends. But I guess that isn't something you didn't already know is it?

Now for the list of some of our friend we'd like to give this award to. Ten folks we like to read, and we'd like to know more about.

First is Blindmaximus. Since he's a sweet little dog, and fairly new to blogging, I bet there's lots he can tell us!

Then there's Henry, aka Quadpawd who has stepped into his big brother's pawprints so wonderfully. But we want to hear more about Henry!

Third would be Jazzy da Cat . I can't wait to hear all the fun things she'll tell us!

Next is Jed Bramwell I bet there are lots of things we don't know about Jed, Tito and their movie!

Fifth is Lainey I bet there's lots of things she'd like to tell us about her new sister and COOKIES!!

And how about Marley and Lola ,they have a wonderful blog. but I'd like to learn more about the terrierists!

Two of the coolest kitties,none other than Inigo and Rumblepurr I sure they have lots to tell us, especially about the adventure they have just started!

Number eight would be Mattie da Dog I loved his story about how he got his home. Bet there's lots more to tell!

And then, would be Cute I know they have something cute every day! But I bet there's cat secrets they can share!

Rosie's Review of "Under the Paw"

Hai everyone, Rosie here!

Thought you might like to hear about a book I just read. About cats, of course. Just before Christmas @LaddietheMutt sent it to Dolly as a pawpawty pwise. But I'm the reader/book critic around here...snicker...(as Dolly might say!)

I think that's Pablo and Bootsy, two of the cats in the story.

It is the tale of an English fellow,Tom Cox, who loves his cats. He'd better, he and Dee have six of them. And all the things they have done through the years for their cats, and all the fun things their cats have done to them. Like being sure to leave little treasures on the pillow.

He tells of his childhood cat, Monty. Who was quite dog-like, and went for daily walks with him.

And then of the cats they have later in life. Like The Bear, who's an evil genius, or was either Houdini or a tragic Shakesperian actor in another life.

Then there's Janet, who must have been a little retarded, but loves everyone, and not surprising doesn't care that his name is so feminine!

And Shipley, who talks more than a Siamese, and has his own Chicken Song for when he's trying to get fed some of that bird!

Then Ralph, who's a little crazy and insecure, and needs to be told he's beautiful.

Pablo, who started life as feral cat, but loved everyone he met and every meal he could get.

And lastly Bootsy, the tiny grey finally girl cat!

It was a fun little story about how he quite rightly realizes that cats are the superior species, and it's his job to see that they were never short of treats, toys, a soft cushion, or a sunpuddle. And that his cats gladly return their affection for his having remembered these basic facts!

So, if you get the chance, I highly recommend that you read this book.

Happy 2010 !

I thought it might be fun for us to review some of what the anipals accomplished in 2009. I wish I had thought to save more from all of our pawpawties this year. We all had so much fun, and they grew in such a way that none of us could have foreseen.We have made wonderful friends and created a way for all of us to help animals. The Anipal Twitterverse has a lot to be proud of for 2009!

February ~

Many of the UK anipals were celebrating Rednose Day, and many of the US and Aussie anipals found a way to sport a rednose in support of their friends, so that the twitterverse saw tons of red noses.

It gave us all a common cause, and @romeothecat and @frugaldougal decided we could try to have our first organized pawpawty in March.

The St Pawtys Day Pawpawty

Oh,did we have a wonderful twenty four hours.Of course there were pwises,and anipals took turns DJing, @BunnyJeanCook and @CosmoHavenese, and several others kept the tunes spinning! It wasn't organized like we know the pawpawties now. But we had green drinks and noms, and all the cats made sure there was plenty of nip! @SylvieDog made cookies and was one of our 1st barktenders. Some of the anipals were able to use tweetgrid, but most worked off their webpage, or tweetdeck.We were invaded by a lot of spammers and SylvieDog's dad set up a "RealPawpawty" site to keep them out. It was the first"collecter" site for our pawpawty hashtags, and was so cool, because it was a moving waterfall of our tweets and avatars! Later the Sekurity Patrol was created to help keep out the spammers and to help folks to find the Tweetgrid search page.Our charity was Animals in Distress.

The April Pawpawty ~

It was Easter time,and one of our favorite cats' birthday! @BrewskieButt turned 5 and was the host for the festivities! Our charity was @Kittenrescue in Los Angeles. It was held on April 5th.

For well over a week before, the anipals started sporting their pawpawty finery

Once again we had a wonderful twenty four hours, and for the first, but not the last time, we made our target to raise funds for our charity. We all brought Easter ham, and noms to share. We drank barkaritas and catinis.We had quizzes and pwises! Once again, we had twitter search problems, and spammers to deal with. But we were the #1 twitter trending topic! The DJing was getting more organized with @FergustheDog and @CosmoHavanese getting the DJ's organized to cover the entire twenty four hours.

And then we went to PussyCatIsland on the 18th. @BrewskieButt drove the boat to the Island. @MonkeyCat and @BabyPatches were some of the cats that were there! @Copious_Tuna swam along side the boats and surfers. Dogs, bunnies and guinea pigs joined in.

The May Pawpawties ~

We were having such a wonderful time with our pawpawties, we just had to have two in May also!!

First we had the super fun Cinco de Mayo pawpawty! Our charity this time was the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre in the UK. For over a week beforehand @henryandfriends showed us all wonderful pictures of this great facility. We were all so happy to be supporting this wonderful shelter!

We found Jib-Jab, and had some fun videos of anipals doing the Mexican Hat Dance! We had what was left of the tequila that @perrythebirman and @FergustheDog didn't drink the night before from @SylvieDog's bar. As usual they blamed it on @MugsyDog...

Once again we had a super time, with lots of wonderful noms, DJs,and quizzes. There were puppy pinatas, and castanets! Oh, and giant Barkaritas! And once again we met our target for the shelter.

The second pawpawty was the Weekendroadtrip! This one took place over the weekend of May 23 and 24th. This was a national banking holiday in the UK and Memorial Day here in the US. @GD_Kenworth and I thought it would be a really fun time to take a virtual weekendroadtrip around the globe. And it was! So many anipals helped to do this by being the Tour Guides in different parts of the world! @frugaldougal took us to London, @EmmytheCat to Cornwall, @rumblepurr took us to NewZealand, @PeanieWeanie took us to see Santa Barbara, Calif, @BrewskieButt took us to the Art District in Canton, Ohio. We visited so many wonderful places! And ate so many wonderful and exotic noms all over the world!

Then while we were visiting Rome,Twitter search went down! Many of the anipals couldn't continue on our world tour! But for those of us stuck in Rome, we went on a wonderful moonlit drive in the Italian countryside and drank Chianti all nite long! @perrrythebirman filled his wonderful bucket with the stuff!We tooled around Italy for over six hours. @GD_Kenworth joined in about 2 in the morning for us West Coast anipals, and @frugaldougal joined us soon after. Search came back up about 3am, shortly after I'd taken a break to sleep. The anipals then continued on with the Weekendroadtrip, going to the Great Barrier Reef, and many other wonderful stops. I joined them again in Cornwall, and then we continued on the tour across the US, ending up on the beach in Malibu!

This was the first and hopefully only pawpawty that lasted twenty eight hours! But a wonderful time once again was had by all our travelers! The noms, and tunes, and quizzes had only gotten even better, despite the overnighter in Rome! Our charity this time was very appropriate for Memorial Day ~ VetDogs, The Foundation for the Blind's service dogs for veterans.

The June Pawpawty ~

We started the summer by going Back to the Eighties! By now the DJs were well organized and @Frugaldougal had the quizzes and quizmasters well in paw! We had many wonderful noms and drinks and things for the young anipals as well! Many of us had gotten quite sophisticated with our pawty outfits by now and I just could not pass up using a Dolly Parton shot.

Our shelter charity was Angels for Animals, and we exceeded our target goal! The Sekurity Patrol with Capt. @SnicktheDog and @ShawneeShep was a great addition to the pawpawties.

The July Pawpawty ~

Next we went on a Surfin' Safari. @JavatheCat, and @CatnamedSinbad supplied us with many wonderful and funny pics. @BadAndy_KityKat had us in tears with some of the funny stuff he did. The DJs and quizmasters headed by @FergustheDog and @frugaldougal respectively once again did a superb job! Our shelter donations went to D'arcy's ARC in Canada this time

We all hit the Beach in Style with the Beach Boys blaring in the background!

@hellahedgie brought his own flask, and @GodzillaofJapan threatened to eat surfers until Sekurity sent him to get @VampireKat instead. @Zackrabbit mooned everyone ! A couple of anipals got slightly injured wiping out in the big surf, but both @Apollo_Frenchie and @ConfuciusCat later reported as being OK. Noms and drinks were perfect for a summer day! It was a wonderful summer beach pawty!

The August Pawpawties ~

The Black Kitty Pawty. Oh what a fun time this little pawty was! We all had to dress in black..the black cats had it made! @JavatheCat had a fantastic menu for the pawty. I found a black dress to wear though...

The now termed "official" pawpawty? What else could it be but Woodstock! Oh, everyone dressed as hippies! @PepiSmartDog came as Jimi Hendrix, there was tie-dye and beads everywhere! We will not admit to knowing what it was the cats were referring to as "Super Nip"...snicker...but there were once again wonderful noms and drinks from the JabaJazzBar , and by now we had full time barktenders to get us our choice of libations! Our shelter charity was TEARS. As should be expected we had all sorts of sixties and Woodstock tunes,and the anipals all enjoyed proving they were animals....

@BadAndy_KityKat brought the hippy van, but the cats inside were all stoned and watched the beads on the windshield the whole twenty four hours. They may still be there!! @LexiLou was the Dokumentasion Officer for our Pawpawty Sekurity, and wrote a wonderful report on the Happening! By now @GeorgetheDuck was our official pawtographer!

The September pawpawties ~

We were all supposed to find women from the 50's and 60's that helped to shape the future for women, I chose Donna Reed!

Chickfest! ~ you would have thought at this point there wasn't much we could do to make the pawpawties even more fun, they were fantastic as they were. Well, that was true, but @JavatheCat with the help of @jazzydacat and @MizzBassie, continuing what they had started at the August Black Kitty pawty, kicked it up a notch for us at the Chickfest.

Java came up with a complete menu of noms and drinks, and scheduled the barktenders to match, and now the pawpawty goers have her and the others to thank for the wonderful pawty specific menus. The target for the shelter charity was exceeded and raised and met still again!

While not actually a pawpawty, an amazing thing happened with the animals in September. On what was an early Friday morning for the US anipals, word came that @PepiSmartDog had suddenly left us for the Rainbow Bridge. Now, we have lost other anipals in the past, such as @Quadpawd's older brother @CatNamedOscar last May; every pawpawty starts with a tribute to the pals we have lost. But we had watched as Pepi had struggled for about a month with kidney problems. He was released from the vet's ICU as being on the road to recovery. I think he came home to say Good Bye to his mom, as he had a stroke within five minutes.

What was so amazing though was the anipals reaction. There were plenty of tears, but @henryandfriends and many others helped organize a send off. Within hours all the anipals that could make it, were in a meadow at the edge of the Rainbow Bridge, celebrating Pepi's life. Those of us who could not join them were there in spirit! It was a wonderful way to say good bye to our friend.

Down on the Farm was the theme for our "official" pawpawty, and everyone came as farmers or farm animals. For the next twenty four hours we hoe-downed, and spent a lot of time behind the barn...snicker... Java again served a wonderful farmer's spread ! We had some funny cat-faced calves and lambs! @BorisKitty had to prove his innocence to Sekurity on a cow-tipping charge! I just brought my tractor!

Everyone once again had a super time(even if there were Poo-guns!) and our shelter charity this time was SoiDogs in Thailand! We exceeded our goal and raised over $1300 for them!

The October Pawpawties ~

Howloween! Boy, did the anipals have fun with that! There were vampires, and bats, ghosts and goblins! I was the Headless Horseman...snicker...

Our Shelter charity was Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue. Once again, everything was super, from the noms and drinks our barktenders served us to the great DJs spinning tunes for twenty four hours to the great crew of quizmasters.There were quizzes every half hour with lots of wonderful pwises! and Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue got the best trick or treat of all! We exceeded our target goal of $1000 by double! and then @Nutrish also contributed another $1000. Well done anipals!

Dudefest! Everything Dude! @brutusthedane, @HanktheDoggie, @thetrailerparkdogs, and @BrunotheDog with the help of several other Dudes put on a Festival of all things Dude ~ Bacon, Bacon Beer, Beans with Bacon, and every food known to dudes to cause burps and farts! Brutus drove a team of horses from the Dogmingo River with a load of hooch! We all helped him "lighten" the load!...snicker...A grand time was had by all who came. It was also the premiere of the Flicka da Cookie Cafe, @sadlovelyheart's and my new cookie stop. All the cookies had beer and bacon in them. The shelter charity was Harvest Hills and I'm sure they appreciate The Dudes!

The November pawpawty ~

The official November pawpawty was a very special one, our own @Hanseebundee and @poppy_dog's wedding! It was a very fun weekend to pawty before the wedding.

Everyone got their formal outfits together early, and for the full week before you saw dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and stuffed teddies trying on formal wear! The pawpawty looked like the anipals had done this a thousand times before, and were quite the pawpawty planners!

The Planner part is right! This is what almost a year of working out the little details looks like. The DJs keep the tunes moving with Fergus organizing, Dougal has the quizmasters on an amazing schedule of a quiz every half hour. Snick and Shawnee have Sekurity trained to handle any problems. Java and Bassie have the Barktenders shined and polished to serve incredible noms and drinks(very, very formal and fancy for a formal wedding after all!) CookieMan and I had fun once again with serving very fancy cookies and wedding favors

Once again the pawpawty was a great success for all who came and all involved, and most of all for our shelter charity, Sunny Harbour Cat and Kitten Rescue in Scotland!

The December pawpawties! ~

The entire month of December was one Giant pawpawty! First at Thanksgiving(for us US folks!) Dougal,BabyPatches and YourDailyCute announced the start of the Santa Paws Drive! To help six shelters with toys and treats for their animals' Christmas, and with money to help the shelters operate thru the year. I lost track of how many toys and treats folks donated, but there was over $4000 donated for the shelters. One of the shelters was AWL in Queensland Australia. That is where @PepiSmartDog's mom had found him almost 9 years before! Pepi's outfit changes during the #pepipawty were just short of incredible!

The Christmas outfits the anipals wore in December were fantastic! Some were photoshop, and some were photos! All were so much fun to see!

There were then several little minipawties with the @SantaPawsDrive crew and the help of the Furminator company and the Greenies corp among others.

Then ,the "official" pawpawty was The Howlidays.Once again, it was a great pawty and an incredible way to end our year!(Thanks to GeorgetheDuck and CheshireK I'm able to add that our charity was Catering to Cats and Dogs!)

For those of us who have been involved from its humble beginnings, the pawpawties have taken on an almost unbelievable life of their own.

And then there was @GeorgetheDuck and the Hotties #catmaseve pawty! What a great time we all had! The shelter charity was the Black Cat Rescue. Java again handled the tasty holiday noms and The Flicka da Cookie cafe was open for the night. @marshallsheldon was kind enough to help me hand out the cookies!

Not only have so many been able to help shelter animals because of the pawpawties,but now the anipals are branching out to help shelter animals on their own. Many have blogs where they write about how they help with their own local shelters. Some now foster shelter animals, so they don't have to spend their lives in cages. Some sponsor animals at shelters, and some have helped rescue animals from kill shelters.

Even a few anipals are brave enough to try their paws at making videos, like this one Frugaldougal made for us ~

(and yeah, see we are STILL learning! I don't know why there are two!)

All because one little dog and one little cat wanted to help others less fortunate than they were.

So Happy 2010 to all of us! An incredible group of friends, who have grown so much together during 2009. You will always have a special warm spot in my heart.

Update 11pm 12/10 ~ Wordless Wednesday on Thursday!

Meet Ming Shai!

(if you haven't had a chance to read the whole story start down on Dec 8th)

Just received some pictures from @KittenRescue . She's a beautiful girl! And very curious too. This is her at the vet yesterday. The name they decided that fits her best (plus she answers to!) is Ming Shai. It's as pretty as she is!!

Update 12/10

Our little old gal went to the vet yesterday & everything so far looks really good! The vet said she appears to be abt 14 or 15,rather than 19.She was covered with fleas and matted,so she was groomed, de-flead ,and wormed.

Turns out she has a funny gait,so they did an x-ray that showed at some point she might have been hit by a car.It showed a healed broken pelvis and femur.They don't cause her any pain at this point,but she does walk funny.

She also had blood work & urinalysis done to see if she had any problem there. They came back as her being in generally good health,but may have the start of an urinary infection,so they are giving her meds for that.

We hope to have pictures soon,so keep checking back,and we'll let you know how she's doing

I just heard from @KittenRescue in Los Angeles that they are now in the process of springing the 19 year old Tonkenese Cat from the Carson Animal Control!!!(they've already pulled her picture from the site,or I'd show her to you!)

Last Sunday nite @ersle RT'd a listing for this poor little old gal. When I saw it ,it broke my heart. Here's this little old cat that had apparently been dumped by her family(I don't know the circumstanses,but...)just before what could, under best of times, have been her last Christmas. I started ReTweeting & put up this tweet ~

@flicka47: Calling So Cal peeps!Could anybody give 19 yr-old lady a place to live out rest of her life?

Several of you RT'd it for me and we sent tweets out to @kittenRescue and @babypatches to see if their shelters could help.

Then some folks volunteered to help pay to get her sprung.So as of 1:56 PST Dec 8th,she is now in the care of @KittenRescue & after a vet check will be going to a foster home.

Thanks all that helped so that this little old lady will not have to spend Christmas in a cold cage.

Wow !
What a great "little" papawty we just attended. The guest of Honor/Host was @PepiSmartDog and what a wonderful job he did! Along with @FrugalDougal and the @SantaPawsDrive anipals,Pepi's special charity for the pawty was the Animal Welfare League of Queensland.This is one of the SantaPawsDrive shelters and the one where Pepi's mom found him! What a great way to start the Christmas Holiday season!

It was another fun time for the anipals;plenty of goodies to nom,great music by the DJs and lots of quizzes to play and super pwises to win. Everybody got to visit with old friends and meet new anipals. Best of all once again we got to help the animals waiting in shelters for their forever homes.The target for Pepi's shelter was exceeded and the SantaPawsDrive is now over a third of the way to their target!

I hope that if you have never attended a pawpawty before that you will join us for the next one! I guarantee that you will have a wonderful time.

Poppy Dog and Hansee Bundee's Wedding

Wow! What a wonderful pawpawty we just had! Everybody dressed up so beautifully (or handsomely,if you fellows prefer!) I bet sekurity was pleasantly surprised to find almost no work!(well,except for Raven's wardrobe malfunction!)

Evervybody talked and danced and ate and drank and pawtied for twenty-four hours in celebration of Poppy and Hans wedding. JavatheCat's wonderful catering for the wedding and Cookie Man's and my Flicka da Cookie Cafe served tons of elegant wedding fare,as well as helping to gather donations for Sunny Harbour. I wonder just how much Pink Champagne got consumed ?....snicker...

The DJs are the best, the quizzes are so much fun, and the pwises are super! I hope all of you had as much fun as I did!

Everyone started to gather early for the big moment,and plenty of hankies and spirits were passed around! It was a very merry occasion,and all were proud to attend! Everybody was thrilled when Frugal Dougal and Poppy came down the aisle, SirBarley and Hans waiting there!!

Flicka and the Cookie man were so busy last week with the Flicka da Cookie Cafe that she didn't leave me any time to blog! Which wasn't too bad a thing since Ginger and I spent the time playing!

Bruno,Hank and Brutus did a great job on #dudefest and a really fun time was had by all I'm sure.There was lots of good noms(TootyBrutie,anyone?) and BACON BEER! Everybody enjoyed that! Bruno drove a team of horses to the Dogmingo River with a load of hooch,bacon and regular. Everybody joined in to help him lighten the load! Lots of folks enjoyed having a cookie at the Flicka da Cookie Cafe! BuzzLucas and JavadaCat did a great moonwalk to BillyJean blipped by LouPeb,and then BigBoyBosco did a Chippendale's dance on the bar to finish his hour barktending! Heard he's still missing pieces of clothing...snicker....Very exciting! Then the Poo-guns came out!...snicker...And their charity is getting a really nice surprise!

Speaking of surprises! I got pawpawty pwises today from @frugaldougal!! So cool! I think I'm gonna have to share with the cats though,that fur looks suspiciously like it belongs on a cat toy! HA! there's a ball attached,it's mine!! AND I got Cookies from LuckyDogTreats !!(Those are all for me & Ginger ! Wow! This must be my Caturday!

First,@RomeotheCat was kind enough to mention me and NCHS on his blog ,in his Shelter Appreciation Week series! Thanks Romeo! Remember folks we can all help in little ways,and our local shelters can use the help,so go help yours!

And then I got an award from @Rumblepurr and @Inigoflufflebottom!

Thanks guys! @GeorgetheDuck and I are now honorary cats!

Now the deal with this award is that when you get it,you have to tell 10 truthful things that others don't know about you and then pass it on to seven other furiends to do the same...

Well, I don't know that there ARE ten things folks don't know about me, cause I talk all the time...

OK,OK,here ya go!

1) My favorite game to play with my family is Keep Away!...snicker..I grab somebodies shoe and then run all over the house with it! The more they try to get it from me the faster I run! This technique is especially effective on Little Girl! My mom not so much,so I make sure to pull her shoe laces really tight so when she gets her shoe back she has to redo them or change her shoesize by at least one size!...snicker...

2) We all have nicknames ~ Luna has earned the moniker of "The LunaTick" cause she is such a funny kitten! Rosie often gets called Ro-Ro, but I don't think it's because she's a little dinghy! Molly gets called Da Mol,but she is much too elegant to be a mobster's gal,and sometimes Mau-Mau,I hope that's just for the sound cats make and not because she's about to attack me!

Ginger sometimes gets called Gin,because she is quite a genie when it comes to getting in and out of tiny spaces for such a big dog! But Flicka's is Houdini since she can get under and through spaces no other horse would even try, even little dogs can't get through some of them!

3) Molly's favorite treat is Kitty Kaviar,Ginger's is anything she can eat!...snicker...mine is Ritz Crackers! This is another fun item to play Keep Away with! I steal the package away from Little Girl and then make her chase me all over the house to get them back! I usually get to keep the crackers when we're done as Little Girl says I've drooled on them...plan works perfect!

4) Mom says Rosie and Vulture have the same birthday! I don't know that that is exactly the truth,but mom was there when Vulture hatched! She says that she didn't realize a bird could be so tiny,even just coming out of it's egg! (a little Cockatiel egg is only about 3/4 of an inch long!) We got Rosie when she was about eight weeks old,and that is how old Vulture was then,so they could have the same birthday!

5) Vulture got her name because Snowflake and Princess, her parents tried too hard to keep her clean when she was little! She was the only egg that hatched so they kept cleaning the pinfeathers on her head til she was bald! Mom moved her to her own cage and hand fed her til she learned to eat her babyfood out of the bowl by herself. Rosie ate out of the bowl with her! They are still good friends.

6) My registered name is for my dad, Jacob, who is Pt.Loma's Magic Mirror and that mom says the first picture she saw of me looked like I was sprinkled in gold dust! So I'm Magic Gold Dust!

7) My real name Dolly comes from the movie "Hello Dolly" cause mom says I act just like that character! My breeder had wanted me to be called Melanie after the lady in "Gone With The Wind", she had named all the pups for that movie, but mom said I could never be that gentle! Either way I guess I'm a movie star...snicker...

8) I like to swim! But not nearly as much as Ginger. When we go to the lake I swim a bit with mom, and then sun bathe on the boat. Ginger on the other hand is a swimming fool! Mom takes a 25' lunge line for a leash for her...she swims out as far as she can go and then swims back to the boat over and over and over and over and over...til she finally swims ashore and collapses on the beach. Five minutes later, there she goes again! All. Day. Long.

9) My favorite toys include a pheasant and a raccoon,but my most favorite is a little formerly stuffed monkey that Ginger and I play tug-o-war with(she lets me win sometimes too!) Mom would never dare get rid of that monkey! I also like to get the cats' duckies and play Keep Away from the cats...snicker...

10) Last but not least, our favorite place to be in the evenings is as close to mom as we can get! Ginger lays on her feet,I wrap myself around her heels.She doesn't dare move! Molly sits on the back of her chair,Rosie on her shoulder,and Luna when she is not helping mom type is in her lap! We make very sure she has a great time talking on twitter or playing Bejeweled on facebook!...snicker...

National Adopt a Senior Pet Month

Hi Everybody!

November is Adopt a Senior Month! As you all know we lost one of our favorite seniors @PepiSmartDog back in September. Pepi proved that those old guys make wonderful additions to any family! His mom adopted him as a 10 year old,but they had over 8 years together,and loved each other dearly! So,if you have a space in your heart for a new member of your family, be sure and check out those "old" kittens and puppies.They have a lot of love to give!

Also this month both @Romeo the Cat and @BorisKity have asked folks to adopt their local shelters! This is Romeos Challenge . Our local shelters need help now more than ever!

So I thought you might like to meet Billy McPaw , he's the SpokesCat for my local shelter, the North County Humane Society. Billy is going to be getting his own Twitter account soon,so I look forward to talking with him then.

Mom went there yesterday to take the homeless kitties some little mousie toys and give their staff some huge bags of kitty litter.Smelled like she played with lots of different kitties when she got home!She said the kittens were the most playful,but several of the adult cats were absolute purr-machines & loved the little toys and attention! Several of them found their way on to mom's lap or shoulder.Mom probably would have brought them all home, if dad wouldn't have killed her!(he says there are quite enough of us,thank you very much!)

Rosie and I just don't get this thing about hoomin wars,but then again, we are pretty pampered pets and have never had any reason to fight to live. Mom tried to explain it,but just what "modern civilization" means is beyond me!

I guess what she was trying to tell us is that the world changed on 11/11/1918. About how a big fight between the hoomins made the world a smaller place,and everyone should try to get along better, as they were more interconnected than before somehow. But mom says that isn't how it works in real life. Those hoomins may have called it "The War to End All Wars', but hoomin nature being what it is, that didn't happen. So there will probably continue to be wars until we are all at the Rainbow Bridge.

So, countries need soldiers to keep their hoomins safe from other hoomins that want to hurt them, just like our moms and dads keep us safe from things like traffic and other animals or hoomins that might want to hurt us.I don't understand why that is, but there ya go.I do know it is true, bad hoomins do hurt animals and other hoomins.So until that day the hoomins stop hurting animals and each other, I guess there will be wars.

Soldiers now, I can understand! They're the guard dogs!

Mom says we honor the soldiers that have served to protect our country on November 11th every year, and that day is called Veteran's Day(not to be confused with the V.E.T!). And that it started in 1919 to honor the soldiers that had served in "The Great War".

I'm glad they have a special day for that, but I would hope that people would honor folks that keep them safe EVERY day! And help if they can, those guard dogs that have been injured helping to keep us safe!

That's where VetDogs comes in! They provide Guide Dogs and Service Dogs to disabled veterans.This is a wonderful way for us dogs to thank soldiers who have given a portion of their lives, and suffered for it, so that we can live so pampered a life. So if you can please donate to VetDogs!

So ask your hoomins to remember to honor the Vet (not THAT one) on Veteran's Day and every day for helping to keep us safe.

A short review of one of my favorite subjects ~Cats!

Hai everybody! This is Rosie.

Dolly's out playing in the yard,so I thought I'd tell you about a book I just read.It got even more interesting as I went looking for stuff on the interwebs to include about the book.

Oh,first off,the book I read was "Dewey,The Small-Town Library Cat". I went looking for his picture,so you could see what a handsome guy he was.

Then I found something really interesting.Turns out there are hundreds of library cats all over the United States and the world! Very cool,isn't it. See lots of hoomins know how special we cats are! I found a map to where some of them are,if you want to see, Library Cats . Maybe I will try to get my mom to go interview some of these real smart Library Cats and we can hear about their lives! I'll make the questions easy,cause you know how confused these hoomins get! But if you can think of a question you would like to ask a library cat,please put it in the comments,and I'll make sure mom remembers to ask!

Anyway, about Dewey Readmore Books, that was Dewey's full name. He started his life as a library cat as a little kitten abandoned one night in the library drop box in Spencer,Iowa. It is amazing that he survived that night! It was so cold that he actually got frostbite on his little toes! But he did survive,and his Library family loved him for 19 years!He was a very personable cat and visited with all of the library's patrons, even folks that didn't normally make time to visit their town library found themselves coming by to visit with Dewey.

People came from all over the country to visit Dewey.He even had visitors from London and Toyko!

He had very regular schedule everyday that he didn't liked varied! First he always met his staff with a wave at the front door in the morning.They would have to get him his breakfast and make sure his litter box was cleaned. Then just as the library was about to open he would go to the front door and greet the early morning library visitors.After this important duty, he would find a book cart,or a spot on the checkout desk,or a box to take his first nap of the day.

He loved to eat every rubber band he could find,which helped keep the library clean,since everyone had to make sure he couldn't reach any rubber bands.He helped keep the tops of all the bookcases clean by dusting them himself! He even found time to explore the lights hanging from the ceiling to make sure they were all working and there was adequate light to read by. And he loved playing with his toys and people.

As you can see Dewey was in charge of his library!(I bet the other library cats are too!)Dewey has more than 15 videos at YouTube! His book made #1 on the New York Best Sellers list,whatever that is. Maybe your hoomin would know. But I just enjoyed reading about a cat with such an important job! They are even talking about making Dewey's book into a movie,with a lady named Meryl Streep as the Librarian. Maybe BadAndy could play Dewey!

His book was a very good read in telling about his life, the library, and the town in which his presence made special all who knew him. It also showed how important our presence as cats in our hoomins lives really is! Because us cats help our staff to understand that by returning our love,not only is their life better,but so is the world!

#FollowFriday on Twitter has been very difficult for me to do for quite some time.There are so many wonderful anipals and people that it has almost become impossible to mention them all.There are some very special ones however that I would like to mention this first Friday of my blog.(and I bet I will miss some still! There are so many great anipals.)

All of these anipals are helping to support one or more animal shelters.They know that their lives are special because someone loves and cares for them & they want to help care for those that have no one. They have worked hard on all of the monthly pawpawties,so that not only would all the anipals have a fun time,but so that we could all help the abandoned,homeless animals that have so much love to give to someone that would adopt them and love them back.

A Little About My Family

Hi Ya! I'm still learning about this bloggy thing,so I though I would tell you a little about my family while I practice! At first I thought mom had said froggy,now a froggy I know what to do with!Then I read the story mom let Rosie write,and I thought Hey! I can do this! It will be great fun!! So,here we go! I hope you like it!

This is the pasture where Flicka and Strawberry live.

They are both BLM Mustangs.Flicka was born some place near Susanville,Calif. in late July of 1986. Mom got her in January of 1987.So mom picked the 4th of July for her birthday, because that seemed very appropriate for an American Mustang.

She's a grumpy old lady now at 23. Strawberry is actually my little girl's horse,she's the Strawberry Roan! We got her on Valentine's Day 2001,she's 15.

Oh,yeah, this is why my mom's family calls our place

Rainbow Ranch.

Every year during the spring rains we get lots of rainbows.Mom says that this one was a complete double,whatever that is.But she couldn't back up enough to get it all in.Here's another one that almost fit!I can see them out my living room window,but mom won't let me out to play in the mud !

She's appropriately bundled up for a Central California horse,even if she is a Mustang!

My dad titled this picture "Horse Corral Repair 1000",but I can't seem to find the other 999 pictures anywhere! Mom was very happy with him making this for Flicka and Strawberry.

This is me on the very first day at my home!(Yea,Me!!)My mom and Little Girl went to Lompoc to pick me up.I was actually born in Ramona,but the breeder was going to be at a Dog Show,so I met my mom there for the very first time. I was so excited to meet her! I was so little I could walk under Ginger's belly!

This was how Ginger met Little Girl. Grandpa thought a little girl needed a big dog! I'm so glad he did,because she's my bestest friend!

Three Large Policemen Scared Silly by One Little Cat

Didn't think I would be back here so soon to write another post and you might think from the title it would be a funny one.But it's not,and I'm not snickering at all. In fact,I'm a little angry and disgusted with the hoomins right now.This is not a very pretty post,but needs to be said.(I promise next post we will have something good to snicker about!)

HOWL OUT FOR Tobey the cat who was shot and killed by Raymore police

It seems three presumably adult policemen in Raymore,MO thought a 6 lb,19 year old, deaf,and declawed cat was such a threat to their safety that they had to box it up and take it to a field and execute it.

Let's see three average adult males weighing approximately 180 lbs each vs. a 6 lb family pet with no claws & no way to defend it's self against these horrible hoomins!

What's wrong with this picture? Aren't policemen and firemen supposed to rescue cats out of trees,not haul them off and shoot them,not once but twice to be sure they had finished the poor cat off? And then to lie about it? How can anyone even try to justify what these terrible hoomins have done? Would you really trust these hoomins to do their job and protect you?

I sure wouldn't! And I am very angry that hoomins can allow other hoomins like these to harm an innocent animal! and I am HOWLING FOR TOBY!

Hai! I can believe my luck! I never get a chance to use the puter.

Oh, I’m Rosie, the shoulder cat. Usually I have to watch my mom read political blogs or my sister Dolly the Cocker doing her thing at Twitter (she’s very social!). But today I am going to tell you all about my exciting life. What you don’t think an indoor cat can have an exciting life?

OK, so it’s not always exciting, but I do have lots of fun, and get to snark at what‘s going on! I get to read all the news & blogs while sitting on my mom’s shoulder at the puter. Boy, are you humans dumb! There isn’t enough intelligence put into what you call “news” to warrant the wasted pixels! Don’t any of you know how to write something that gives fact instead of opinion about events? Humans are just not that important that their opinion should be news. Try coming up with a better grade of catnip, then we can talk important!

My exciting day begins about 6am. That’s when my little sister Luna the Bengal and I start out with our morning zoomies to get the fur flying and the blood flowing. Nah, we don’t have a fight! We just run all around the house sounding like a mini elephant to make sure everyone is up and paying attention to us! Molly, my older sister is usually too dignified to join us, but I can tell she secretly would like to, and she some times does. If she hasn’t opened a cupboard & taken out something to play with that is.

Molly can find the coolest things to play with! One time she got us a spool of thread out of the drawer. Oh, that was such fun! We played soccer with it all day. I can’t understand why mom was muttering under her breathe when she picked up all the thread that evening when she got home. Humans! They are so dull.

After our morning exercise we get our first breakfast. Yum! We play with mom here too. She puts mine & Molly’s food in our dishes, and then puts Luna’s kitten food in her dish. Mom can’t figure why we go eat Luna’s first, while Luna eats ours. We will never tell!

Then it is time for our first nap of the day. I always go sleep on mom’s pillow for this most important nap, mostly because she needs to have some of my hair there too. Molly says cause she’s the oldest she gets to sleep with mom all night. But I know that she wouldn’t sleep well if my hair wasn’t there too. Luna contributes to mom’s well being also by making sure to get into the bed every night, and biting mom’s fingers around 3 am. That and an ungraceful leap from the headboard on to mom to make sure she’s asleep!

Oh, I call Luna my little sister cause she’s younger. But at five months, she’s already bigger than Molly and I. And a klutz! Maybe she should take up ballet or something. Or maybe not. She went to jump into the bathtub the other day and missed. Bam! There she was hanging like a cartoon kitty! MOL,MOL,MOL! I hope she grows into her big feet here soon.

Of course this works well after our first nap, when I chase her up our cat tree. I get all the way to the top and when she tries to follows, I push her off! Great fun!

So, mom refills our food dishes before she goes to work and we play the switcharoo on her again. She falls for it every time! (We eat our own food when she’s gone, but she’ll never know!) Then she has to check on the little blue fish in the bowl, cause we think that water tastes better than what is in our bowls. Poor guy! He’s gotten pretty close to having to learn to walk to the next watering hole thanks to us! Fish make good toys too when they wiggle on the floor!

Then it is time to investigate the drawers again and see what we can pull out to play with .We have our own toys, some of which I’m very fond, but it is so much fun to see what might be new in the drawers. Molly takes her third nap in the one in the kitchen that mom now leaves empty for her. The spoilsport! What good is a drawer that you can’t pull something out of?

Luna and I then look for a good box to play with. We have one now that is three-sided, so we can zoom through it like it was a tunnel. One of us waits on one end while the other zooms through and attacks the other one. I always act surprised when Luna does this. I mean, she’s a kid and everything so I have to play along after all!

The best part of my day however is when mom gets home. That means our targets for the evening are allowed in. The dogs! Dolly plays pretty good for a dog; she can’t climb the cat tree of course, but enjoys romping with us. She doesn’t quite get the stealth attack, but is a good sport about it.

Ginger, on the other hand, never knows what hit her! I love beating up on her! MOL! Big ol monster just lets me have at her…I love my dogs!

Another nap and then it is time for dinner. Where once again, with Molly leading the charge we pretend that the food in the dish now is just not good enough and want fresh. Miaow! Refills all around and once again we switch bowls, got to keep her guessing after all.

Now it is the best time of my day! I get to sit on mom’s shoulder while she reads her blogs, and Dolly gets to talk with all of her friends on Twitter. Those anipals sure do gets to have a lot of fun! They have lots of Pawpawties where they help raise money for animal shelters. So the homeless kitties and doggies have food and toys. Mom says it is good that Dolly likes to help. I like the noms and tunes, but Dolly likes the Barkaritas!

So there you have it, my exciting day. I told you it was fun, now you know that I was right!
